1. What Kilikood is

Kilikood is a ticketing platform. Events listed here are created and run by independent organizers, not by us. When you buy a ticket you enter into a contract with the organizer of that event. We provide the platform, process the payment, and issue the ticket.

This distinction matters: the organizer is responsible for the event itself — whether it happens, when, where, and what you receive. We are responsible for the ticketing service.

2. Buying tickets

• Tickets are held in your cart for a limited period (currently 10 minutes) while you complete checkout. An unpaid hold is released automatically and the tickets return to general sale.
• A maximum of 20 tickets may be bought in a single order.
• Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes and any platform fee are itemised before you pay.
• Your order is confirmed only once payment succeeds. You will receive a confirmation email with your ticket(s) and a QR code for entry.
• Each ticket admits the number of people stated on it. QR codes are single-use at the door.

3. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

In short: whether an event is refundable is set by its organizer. Where refunds are enabled, you may request one yourself from your receipt up to a cutoff before the event starts, provided the ticket has not already been scanned. Outside that window, contact the organizer.

If an organizer cancels an event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

4. Your account

You do not need an account to buy a ticket. If you create one, you are responsible for the security of the email address it is attached to — sign-in works by emailed link, so anyone with access to that inbox can access your tickets.

Do not buy tickets with the intention of reselling them above face value, use automated means to acquire tickets, or attempt to circumvent per-order limits.

5. Organizers

Organizers who list events agree additionally that they:

• have the right to run the event and to sell tickets to it;
• will honour valid tickets sold through the platform;
• are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, their own terms, and their refund policy;
• are responsible for any tax obligations arising from their sales.

Payouts are made through Stripe Connect to the organizer's connected account. We deduct a platform fee (currently 2% of the ticket price, plus any per-event arrangement) and payment processing fees before payout.

We may remove a listing or suspend an organizer where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

6. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that: we are not liable for the conduct or cancellation of an event, and our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
